Terms & Conditions – Newquay Food Festival
1. General Information
Welcome to Newquay Food Festival, a celebration of incredible food, drink, and community spirit, set against the stunning backdrop of Killacourt! These Terms and Conditions apply to all visitors, vendors, and participants attending the festival, taking place from 10th–13th July 2025 at Killacourt, Newquay, TR7 1FE.
Newquay is a proud coastal town with a thriving local culture, and we ask all attendees to respect the town, its people, and the festival space. By attending, you agree to follow these guidelines to ensure a safe, fun, and positive experience for everyone.
2. Entry & Admission

The festival is free to attend and open from 10 AM – 10 PM (Thursday–Saturday), 10 AM – 6 PM (Sunday).

Attendees must follow instructions from festival staff and security at all times.

Drinking alcohol is only permitted within the festival grounds. Drinking on the streets or in public areas outside of Killacourt is not allowed under local regulations.

Anyone engaging in anti-social behavior, excessive intoxication, or disruption may be refused entry or removed from the festival.

Under-16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
3. Food & Drink

Outside food and drink are not allowed, except for baby food or necessary dietary requirements.

Alcohol will only be served to those 18+ with valid ID (Challenge 25 applies).

Food vendors are required to provide allergen information, but attendees with dietary concerns should check directly with traders before purchasing.
4. Traders & Exhibitors
All traders must:

Hold public liability insurance (£5 million minimum coverage).

Provide valid food hygiene certificates and comply with local health & safety regulations.

Complete a risk assessment and follow all licensing requirements.

Ensure all pitch fees are paid in full before the event (non-refundable unless the festival is canceled).

Arrive on time, follow set-up and breakdown instructions, and leave their space clean.
5. Safety & Responsibility

The festival is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.

Attendees must take care of their own safety and that of others.

First aid services will be available on-site. Any incidents must be reported to festival staff immediately.

Drugs, weapons, dangerous items, and flammable materials are strictly prohibited. Anyone found in possession will be removed and may face legal action.
6. Event Changes & Cancellations

The festival reserves the right to change the lineup, schedule, or location if necessary.

If the event is canceled due to extreme weather, government restrictions, or force majeure, no liability is accepted, though efforts will be made to reschedule.
7. Photography & Media

By attending, you agree to festival photography and filming for promotional purposes.

If you do not wish to be included in media coverage, please notify a staff member upon arrival.
8. Accessibility
We aim to make Newquay Food Festival accessible to all. The festival site at Killacourt offers:

9. Code of Conduct
Newquay is a vibrant, welcoming town, and we ask all festival-goers to:

Dispose of rubbish properly—use the bins provided.

Follow all festival rules to help create a safe and enjoyable event for everyone.
Anyone violating these terms may be removed from the festival.
